For Your Consideration

A couple months ago I got the itch to cut my hair real short but I chickened out. This was largely due to the fact that I do not trust anyone here to do this cut but also just because I am nervous about it. I am getting the itch again. If I decide to go through with this it will have to wait until I am home which will give me ample time to chicken out again.

I am considering something like this. Not the color, just the cut. Could I pull off a do like this? I will take your silence as a "no."

Wow, brave move! But I think you can pull it off. Carey Mulligan rocks my world, btw.

Er, also, I was looking at this split screen so the pictures were smaller. Not Carey Mulligan after all. But she is cool too (:

I think I like your hair best at the length it is at but I know that you could definitely pull of this style beautifully!

Do it! Hair always grows if you decide you don't like it. I did that once because I just needed to do it, and then I was satisfied and won't do it again because it didn't work for me. Besides, you have nice hair and I think it will work for you.

love it! you should totally do it. just a note- the best hair cut jeremy ever got was in shanghai. but i wouldn't risk it.

But if you do it now, no one will see it and if you don't like it, let it grow back out.

when Jodi did that it was the worst thing that ever happened to me. She ended up with a FEmullet and looked just like David Bowie.

need proof?

nice way to ensure lots of comments. I think you could totally pull it off, but I think that is the kind of hair cut that looks super cute right when it is cut but then has lot of awkward stages when you try to grow it out.

I say go for it. Hair always grows back...you only live once!

I think you should do something crazier...and grow your hair OUT! You already did this halfway - that one lopsided haircut you had was this short on one side.

What does Chris think about all of this?

I like it. I think you would look good with that style/cut.

I like the short cut, and you'd look awesome with it. It's very sassy looking and bold. My only issue is the way too far over part in the hair. It's too much, in my humble opinion. That could be because the blonde hair color looks unnatural though. On a brunette, you specifically, it would probably look glamorous! I agree with Julie, that hair always grows back if you end up not liking it.

Our hair cuts here in Taiwan have been great so far, but the highlighting job was my only nightmare. You should be safe with the cut, as long as you have a picture of what you want. Good luck!

YOU can do ANY haircut and ROCK it! I say go for it!! Hair does grow, and it should be played with!!! Just a few thoughts from a hair-gal:
*This IS a haircut that looks like Mullet real quickly, but the length in the back does not make or brake this haircut, so I suggest asking them to cut the back up to your hairline on your neck.
*Don't be afraid of the razor...just specify that you want the length on your neck fairly BLUNT.
*Grow-Out won't be bad....you will just have to chop the back a time or two!!
*Good LUCK!!

I love the "lopsided" haircut comment! Too funny!
